We’re Closing Our Doors

WhatEveryBabyNeeds.com will be closing our virtual doors for good on Friday, February 3rd.  We have had a wonderful time and exciting growth these last 4+ years, immersed in all things baby and most importantly, focused on you, our customer.

Our decision did not come easily, and a combination of factors, including the increasing competitiveness of the retail market on small business from ‘big-box’ online stores and deal sites, brought us to this conclusion.

As with all things we do, we want to go out in style and with some fun, so everything (even sale and already deeply discounted sale and clearance items!) is now 50% off with code: GREATBUY.  All sales are final.

We will also have frequent special ‘steals’ pop up on the site and Facebook starting today that will go fast, so please check back often!

Thank You for your continued support of the business. I have loved every minute of it! We will continue to have sales from now until February 3rd, and if you are near Saratoga Springs, NY, please come visit us in person at our Closeout Warehouse sale on Saturday, February 4th. We will post details on the address on our website and on Facebook in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, please take advantage of our deep discounts, and don’t hesitate to contact me for any reason before or after we close our doors!

Warm Regards,

Dana

Little Traveler: the Brand Dads Love as much as Boys

Not only do our new Little Traveler short sleeve tees feature what little boys love (cars and motorcycles), but the clothes look big boy cool, not baby cool, so little boys will love them even more! With retro images that Dad will envy, each shirt embodies that rough and tumble boy vibe. Tees have contrasting color trim that on the sleeves and bottoms for that double tee look.

Watch out, Mamas, when your little boy wears the Red Car Short Sleeve Tee because he might feel the urge to race!  I also love the below Gnome Rone Tee in striking black and red. Both tees are available in sizes 6 months -  4T. See our entire Little Traveler collection here.

Green Baby: Finally Available in the U.S. and We’ve Got ‘Em!

Green Baby has been creating delightfully fun, organic clothing for kids and new moms for over ten years. Originally available only in England, we are thrilled to now offer this exciting collection at What Every Baby Needs. We have selected our Green Baby favorites, so check out their sundresses, layette, tees, shorts, hoody, cargo skirt and more!

I fell in love with the above Organic Strappy Sundresses for their luscious colors and classic shapes. The white dress features a bright assortment of flowers, chicks, butterflies and the aqua dress features flowers in the most perfect shades of blue. I’m not sure which one I love more. I think they would look great on two sisters! (By the way, we have coordinating sun hats, too!)

The Organic Bluebird Bodysuits may be the cutest onesies ever created. Made in India from the softest organic cotton, these are perfect for hot summer days. Any new mom would be thrilled to receive them!

The Organic Dress and Bloomer Set is ridiculously cute. I love the combination of charming prints and the delicious sherbet shades of pink. I know it’s hard to imagine this getting any cuter, but imagine the dress with one of our coordinating sun hats!

Positively Organic Clothes Make Me Happy

I can’t stop thinking about our new Positively Organic clothes. Maybe it’s because today is so rainy and gray and these clothes are vibrant and colorful. But spring is officially here and soon my daughter will be able to wear this lovely Organic Knot Back Sundress. I know she’ll love how soft and comfortable the organic cotton feels and how the ruffle at the bottom is perfect for twirling. The cornflower blue and hot pink are striking and the back has a cute knot design. For babies, we have the same print in a Kimono Romper with a hot pink ruffle a the neck and legs.

The Positively Organic Polo Romper is equally as stylin’ with a contemporary, graphic design of blue and gray fish on a comfy, playful romper.

I also loooooove the Positively Organic Butterfly Onesie with butterflies in teal and navy. A bubble shape and flutter sleeves look girly and sweet. The modern butterflies are oh, so, hip!

I love every item in our collection. You can see them all here!

New Diaper Bags from Timi & Leslie

Here’s something I don’t admit very often. I’m a little lazy when it comes to my own fashion. I go nuts with my daughters but for myself, not so much. But, one thing I have down is a fabulous diaper bag. I think it’s just easy to buy a great bag. The clothing part… takes a lot of time and time is very precious!

Timi & Leslie diaper bags are known for their unbelievable style and functionality. Each bag looks nothing like a diaper bag, but with all the very important essentials. Their new spring collection has something for the uptown girl and the downtown girl and for the girl who is a little of both!

Annette is our uptown bag. Available available in pewter, red or black with gold accents and a chunky, gold buckle. Annette looks like a chic, expensive handbag. Nobody would ever guess it was transporting diapers and bottles!

Dawn is the downtown bag with edgy zippers and a tote bag shape. Dawn is available in a soft blue, raspberry, taupe and black. Dawn is probably my favorite. The shape is perfect for a magazine and library books and just enough gold hardware to look fashion forward.

Rachel is a girl who loves both the downtown and uptown scene with antique brass hardware and a shape that kind of reminds me of a Marc Jacobs bag I once lusted after. Rachel is available in red, taupe and black.

All Timi & Leslie bags are made from faux, PVC free leather (that looks like real leather), making them easy to clean. All bags come with stroller straps, shoulder straps, coordinating clutch (with credit card slots), changing pad, insulated bottle tote and oodles of pockets to keep everything in its place.

Shop our Timi & Leslie diaper bag collection and decide for yourself which bag is most “you”…

The A to Z Magnatab by Kid O

The A to Z Magnatab is one of the newest toys by Kid O. This is the perfect toy to teach kids how to write their letters. A magnetic stylus pulls beads up to create lines and then erases with the tip of a finger to start again! Arrows are a helpful guide and the bold red letters are easy to remember. And since the toy is designed by Kid O, this toy is easy on the eyes, too.

I love the clean, modern aesthetic of Kid O’s toys, but they’re much more than just pretty to look at. Find out more about Kid O and how their toys are based on the teachings of Maria Montessori here.

We carry our favorite Kid O Toys. You can find them here.

JaneyBaby by Baby Soy

Here’s something for your little monkey that will make you smile every time you see it for a few reasons. The JaneyBaby Collection by BabySoy was developed to support the Jane Goodal Institute and proceeds from the sale of the collection benefit the institute, too. Another reason to smile? Seeing this adorable chimp on your little monkey will make you and everyone in the room grin. I’m grinning right now just thinking about my little one wearing it.

The collection also includes a lynx, parrot, bunny, kangaroo and tortoise. No, not the typical animals for baby clothes but that’s another reason to love them. The images are by award-winning illustrator Patrick McDonnel and were featured in Dr. Goodall’s book “Hope for Animals and Their World”. Onesies and bodysuits are available as well as JaneyBaby organic coordinating pants.

The JaneyBaby collection is made from organic cotton and soybean fiber and printed with water-based ink.

Fleece Jumpers with Kaleidoscope Tights

I am in mix and match heaven with these delightful Fleece Jumpers by Country Kids. With three cheerful color choices for the Jumper (hot pink, surf blue and purple), the hardest decision is choosing just one. Coordinating tights are charming in Stripes or Kaleidoscope (see below photo). Match the turtleneck tops (in chocolate, hot pink and white) and you’re done!

Jumpers are classic and sweet with pockets on each side and two big buttons at the top. The soft, fleece material is cozy and comfortable. Pair the outfit with Mary Jane shoes and your little girl is ready for parties or playschool. Perfect for the holidays, too!

My only question is choosing which color jumper and which tights. Each option is cuter than the next. (Luckily, I have two daughters!)
